On Saturday July 20th - we ted a quilt for the Child family ... they were the mission president in St. Petersburg, Russia - their youngest son was getting married...Thanks so much Heather and Lindsey for coming to help ... as you can see - not many ward members came!
Sister Child and the bride to be - Sarah. She is from Omaha, Nebraska and they are getting married in the Winter Quarters temple!!
Some other Relief Society sisters came just as we were getting finished...made me happy.
Trying it out - it works! warm and snuggly!
My Coousin Carol Lee always invites us to come and harvest some of her many apricots! We took the Kroeber children, all but Eli - he and Heather were at the DMV getting his learner's permit.
Keenyn climbed right up one of the trees and started picking apricots.
Can hardly see him at the top - he would drop them in a bag that I held for him.
We ended up with three big boxes full - we brought one home and shared with all our neighbors and ministry people - Heather was going to dry hers for future snacking!
Eli and Heather came at the end of the event - Eli is tallest so he picked some that the rest of us coulnd't reach -even on the ladder.
Thanks to Cousin Carol - we have fruit in our pantries!!
