Jody Birthday lunch - Preston Parade - Aug 3rd

We drove to Salt Lake and took Jody out to lunch - it was her birthday.  In Ocho Rios we celebrated by going to the beach - since my birthday is the 4th.  One of these days we will do that again!!

After our lunch in Salt Lake we headed to Preston, Idaho to meet Derrell, LaNore and Sterling for the Preston Rodeo and Parade.  It was so much fun to be with them...except we are sure looking old!

Missionaries marching in the parade!  Lots of candy thrown for the kids at this parade - children ended up with grocery bags full!

 Loved the Mission Presient on the wagon and the senior couples also!

                            
 Preston High School are the Indians - here the cheerleaders are riding bareback - love it!  They all had their hair in braids also.

 Preston High School marching band - pretty small but sounded good.

 Lots of pick up trucks in the parade - I liked this huge tractor!

 Derrell and Harold walking in front of LaNore and Sterling and me as we made our way from the parade route to the Rodeo Arena - note the condition of the sidewalks!  pretty in need of repair.  Sure love these two men!
