Memorial Day, May 27th, Mom and Dad's headstone in the Provo Cementery.
Polly had this saying of her Granny's carved in stone and placed it in the flower bed near their graves. The rest of it goes ... get rid of them as quick as you find them!!
I learned that my parents are buried in the part of the cementery that is reserved for Veterans!
Cementaries look like gaint flower gardens on Memorial Day and the week after.
We found Dad's name - S. Glenn Smith - on the Veterans Memorial - cool.
Lindsey needed us to tend the kids for a day - she had end of school meetings in Salt Lake. Reid is smiling so much now, and seems to love his big brother Tait!!
Sadie won some blue slime from a school deal and Lindsey will only let them play with it outside - it is awful!! but they had a blast playing.
Then we frosted cookies - we traded kitchen tables, their's was too small and ours was too big! win-win!!
We drove to Hyrum and picked up Kate, Joel and Annabelle for the drive to Wenatchee and Shelby's high school graduation. Here are the teenagers relaxing in the hot tub!
It was really fun to help Heidi get the yard in better shape to seel the house later this summer. We pulled weeds, collected trash and the whole yard looked a lot better after our hard work. We are very grateful that our kids all know how to work hard and help each other!
Shelby's in the middle of the picture - it was a lovely evening for the event - part of the program was a young lady singing a Hawaiian song - meaningful to Fromms!
Stefan hugging Shelby after we finally found each other on the field.
Happy People - look at those smiles!
Shelby had a party with two friends - lots of food, family, friends and fun!So happy we have been able to be there for Jordan, Kacey and Shelby's graduation - we were in Jamaica for Sydneys - but watched by skype - love all.
Shelby and Friends awards table - great young ladies.
Lucky Grandparents! Shelby has her CNA license and will work in Hawaii.
We stopped in Ellensburg on our way back to utah - this is the Bull statue downtown - we found the houses we had lived in, interesting - lots of new buildings and such.
