My sister Susan's husband John lost his brother David this last week. The Memorial Service was Saturday, July 31st. John drove over from Denver, Anne flew from CO Springs, Berkley drove from northern Idaho. It was delightful to see them again. Here is the Urn's that hold the ashes of David and Jeanne, his second wife. He taught World History at BYU and was accomplished in many ways.
The flowers were very pretty at the sign in table. It was important for us to attend the 'viewing' and support John and his family. Sue could not come, she is tending Marc's two girls while their mother visits her family in Honduras! I met John's sister Priscilla in a Freshman English class at BYU. She doesn't remember me! Funny thing - I also met Betsy Steele, LaNore's younger sister, in a PE class at BYU. I met both of them long before Derrell and Sue married their siblings!!
The Program was very nice...it was good to see that Anne was playing - she is very talented.
We liked this picture of them from Eastern Europe - looks like it was very cold!
