Glaciers at the top of the mountains are called 'hanging' glaciers. This one is across a couple of peaks. Notice the waterfalls coming down the mountain. Valley glaciers stop in a valley - we saw many of these - not sure why I don't have a picture of one!

This small glacier was the first 'Tidewater' one that we saw ... comes all the way down to the water of Prince Edward Sound.

Biggest Tidewater Glacier we saw - four miles across at the water. Bigger icebergs also.
