Rockin'R Ranch - Trail Ride, Bucking Barrel, and Wagon Ride

Monday afternoon, there were two trail rides, this is the first one coming back.  I'm proud of all the family who went up on those big horses and rode the trails!
Christian in the middle on the brown horse - notice his left arm in a green cast?  His right one was in a pink one!  He broke both wrists at a skate board park - I think.  Shelby is on the horse at the right corner of the barn and Joel in front by the rail.  Everybody under 18 had to have a helmet on.
Tait - three years old and not the least bit afraid!!  He didn't go on the ride - Shelby is just putting him on the horse for a picture.
This is the beginning of the second trail ride for the day.  Grace was in front of me, Sadie iin front of her.  Nice slow horses!
Pretty country - the trail rides each day went on different trails - just this first one was enough for Grandma and Grandpa!! See the old house in the trees?  Built by a former owner of the Ranch.
More of the cool trail ride.  Grace is really good with horses and helped me a lot.  My horse was named River and stopped to drink water each time we crosses a creek!  Grace told me to pull his head up and kick his sides - it worked!

Thia on the Bucking Barrel!  Uncle Kurt supervising.
Georgia taking her turn - the cousins all helped each other to have a fun ride.
Isaac was  a little too big but had fun with his turn.
Sheffield holding on as the cousins try to 'buck' him off!

Monday evening there was a fun FHE activity - hay wagon rides into town - Antimony is only about a mile away and it was fun to hear about the history of the area.  The staff guide told us some interesting information and we made up songs to her ukulele!
There was two wagon rides to accommodate all the great people at the Smith Family Reunion!!
