This beautiful golden retriever puppy belonged to the Hanks family. Most of the grandchildren had a turn holing him and it tuckered him out!
Thia, under the hat, making friends with the puppy.
Tuesday nights dinner was a dutch oven cookout - at the fire pit. Delicious food and wonderful company. When we learned a week ago, that Polly and Chris couldn't come - we invited Miesha and Scott Spieth - really good friends from our old ward in Springville. They came and brought their 15 year old son, Jackson. They have two older daughters also. Miesha came to another family reunion about 20 years ago! The one at a church in Payson and I dropped my birthday cake Becky bought. I told Derrell it was his fault - he should have been there to help me hold it!!
Another view of our dinning outside - Scott and Miesha at the far left.
After dinner, the grandchildren played in the field next to the fire pit and the rest of us enjoyed the fire. You can see Julie and Ben M with their guitars in the far right hand corner. So happy to have talented family members who are willing to share with the rest of us. Stan and Julie sang and played and we all joined in with 'Grandma's Feather Bed!'
This huge Rocking Chair was fun - Tait and Ruby said they were the King and Queen!!
We had glow sticks, necklaces, bracelets, hatchets, and swords! Briella and Sheffield told me they were the guards for the King and Queen and would not let anyone hurt them...they were armed with their glow stick swords!
The really OLD King and Queen!
