One morning as we were on our walk we noticed that our Chapel building has eight parking spots for handicapped access - and each Sunday they used to be all filled!
I have been sewing baby quilts - in my 'at home' time - Scooter likes to sit on them and try them out!
Another day, another quilt - the same cat seeing if they 'work'!
Harold and I have been making other flannel tied quilts - for Russian missionaries that are getting married. The queen sized one fit better in the yard - not in our small living room! Scooter likes to bat at the yarn as we tie!!
In the carport there is shade and protection from the rain - and the cat!!
Kroeber's are remodeling their house - here is some of the walls down! All the way back to the back wall of the house. Pa came and helped supervise! and David was doing lots of work.
More of the huge remodeling job - so much work and it will be wonderful when finished!
We walk along the road toward Seven Peaks - and this tree was dead and cut down - now the roots are saying - not finished yet!
Another tree with roots that want to live more! That's perseverance!!!
Some put a sunflower seed in this bush! Flowers make the world a prettier place!

July Birthdays, Line Dancing
This is the birthday cake that the Ranch kitchen made - and Miesha decorated with eight names!!
Here are all eight of the party people!! Thia wanted to hold her Daddie's hand! The kitchen provided up plates and a server also - told us once the cart left the kitchen it couldn't come back in - we did great Grace helped me cut the cake and serve it.
After dinner there were line dancing lessons in the back field. Many of our family participated and had a great time.
Some more learning how to line dance!
After the lessons then came the dance! The live band was pretty good and we all had a great time!
This is "Down by the banks of the Hanky Panky" - I think.
The Ranch sold snow cones from a small shed - and this cow was part of the fun!
It was great that the swing set for the little ones was right next to the stage and dance area. Everyone seemed to have a great time.
After dancing part of the night away - these hardy souls stayed up later and played cards. Heather, Eli, Miesha and Emilee.
Meanwhile the older boys played pool in the game room. So much fun as had by all! The chair Keenyn is leaning on is the very same fabric of our in the Springville Canyon Road house!! On Thursday morning we just had breakfast and family prayer and then packed up and left. We will always have fond memories of our three nights, four days at the Rockin' R Ranch Family Reunion.
