More Alaska Adventures

It was fun to sightsee in downtown Anchorage - it was the end of the summer tourist season and there were some good deals!  Sure hope this is the only Grizzley bear any of us ever see this close!
At the Anchorage Museum they had this language map of one of the most prominent Native languages - we found it very interesting that the same language group was found in the southwest!
Harold getting his fishing license on the way to Montana Creek.
Lucy liked to 'hug' Harold in the truck - me not so much!
Beautiful Montana Creek - we hiked about a mile to get there - only three others fishing - Dad and Sam caught some 'dog' salmon - not good eating - just to feed the dogs!  I enjoyed sitting on a camp chair and reading!!

Denali in the background - we saw all of it but couldn't stop on the highway for a picture, by the time a turn out came up the clouds had moved in - still impressive!
On the way back to Anchorage we saw this momma moose off on a side road!
