On Saturday we drove up to Crooked Lake and helped build a storage shed at Derrell and LaNore's cabin. See the big gray metal box on the dock? We brought that to the lake for Derrell - Sam's donation!
They have worked hard on remodeling the cabin - here Sterling is coming down to the dock to help bring food up.
The white building is the new outhouse Sam built one weekend a few years ago...the old on is still there also.
Derrell, Harold and Sam moving the metal panels that will be the sides of the shed. Nick, Natalie's husband was there cutting brush and trees down - we all helped drag the limbs and branches to a big pile.
Derrell bought LaNore this jet ski for her 70th birthday! She wanted me to drive it but I would rather hold on to her! The water was so calm and smooth - and LaNore is a good driver!
Out on the lake - it is well named - Crooked!
Coming back to the dock - LaNore liked to drive down an arm of the lake and then cross the wake we had made on the way back out.
Late summer fun!
Loon on the lake - so pretty. We watched it dive for fish - coming up about 50 yards from where it went down!
We would throw a tennis ball into the lake and Lucy would dive in to get it ...over and over and over!
Derrell, LaNore, Harold and Dianne, Sam and Allie - awesome day. Yummy food, thanks to LaNore, nice to help a little with the shed building and fun to be with family at anytime!
This picture of the city was at the airport and I liked it so I took a picture of a picture!!
