Kurt, Christian and Clark visit Utah

On Saturday, July 17, Kurt, Christian and Clark flew over from CO - Christian had purchased this truck and they were going to pick it up and drive back home on Sunday.  Clark had never flown in an airplane so he came along for the ride!!  This is the truck as they were packing to go back to CO.  I don't like how the pictures are published last one first!
We were driving around showing Clark the old places we lived in Springville - then we came to show them Kroeber's house remodel project.  It was fun - Kurt jumped out and shouted:" I'm here to work!"
Kurt and Clark each carried in a door for the Kroebers!!  Very glad to help even a little bit!
Clark looking at the roof over the new garage area.
Kurt and Clark in front of Grandpa Sheffield's house he grew up in  - right next to Brookside School and across the street from Reams grocery store.
We ate at La Casita - where else?  Louis was there and has lost 80 pounds!  He was very happy to see Kurt - thought it has been 25 years of so!  Stan is going to come visit in August.
The new - to him - truck!  Christian bought this online and was happy to see it!  He drove it to Brigham City to visit a young lady he met at EFY - a years or so ago.

New truck - joining the others at the Farm!
At the airport - love going to pick up family when they come to visit!!

Poole Cousin's Family Reunion

Sunday, July 11, we held a Poole Family Reunion -

This is a picture of the Stanley Scottorn Poole and Peninah Chase Wood family.  Back row, Pat, Afton, Vivian, Margaret and Kathy.
Front row - Harold, Grandma and Grandpa Poole...wonderful people all!
Grandma and Grandpa Poole sang in the Tabernacle Choir for over 35 years - We would always watch carefully at General Conference to find them in the Choir!  Sometimes we would go with them to Thursday evening practices - and play around the top choir chairs!
Wedding photo - sure love these two wonderful people - and thank them for so many happy memoires and for my dear Mother!

Track in Bountiful

Reid rocking - fast - in an old children's rocking chair that Kathy Fairbanks grandfather made for her!  It has been refurnished and used by several Hayhuff's and Fairbanks!
Tait in the same chair - just the right size!
Here are the group of runners on a cross training day.  Sadie on skate board, Olivia and Georgia on roller blades, Millie and Reid on scooter, Tait and Zain in stroller!!
Love and happy trails to all!

More Fun on the Fifth - Williams Pool

Picnic on the 5th at Polly and Chris's - kids would eat a little bit - then go swim some more and then come eat some more!  Great set up!!

Fun stock tank swimming pool - filtered and everything!  the kids had a great time.  Tait and Reid wore the safety floaties and had a blast.
Keenyn would run from across the lawn and belly flop into the pool - so much fun.
Wonderful to play with nine of the awesome grandkids on a holiday!  Thank Polly and Chris for everything - loved it!
Pink was still staying at Polly's - here Briella is playing with all three dogs.

Polly had made her Gramps dish towel into a place mat - I love it!

Fourth of July Fun - on the Fifth!

I sure don't like the feature that puts the last picture selected the first in the post!  Someone tell me how to change that please!?!  Anyway here's the Provo Utah Missionaries carrying a huge US Flag - impressive!
Trick rider - one foot on each horse! Georgia and Millie with hair braided, Briella enjoying - we had seen the kids movie - Untamed about trick riding - fun for all.
Eli and his Timpview Marching Band - yay for high school music!
See Reid in the middle of the picture?  He would jump up and down and clap his hands for whatever was coming in the parade!  All the people around us were enjoying him!! The joy of being two years old!!
Watching the Parade in Provo - missed those of you who couldn't come.  We had run the one mile race so  Kroeber's were further down the parade route - to see Eli and TV band.  After the band marched by them =- they came and stayed with us for a little bit.  Then Keenyn and Briella stayed to attend the BBQ at Polly's with us after the parade.

Olivia and Millie at the parade - Lindsey had braided all the girls hair - darling!
Three Fairbanks boys at the parade - darling all!
Here we are in front of the Finish Line - before the race even started!  Everyone did great - Sadie was third in her age group, Olivia did well, Georgia was like 12th, and Millie 10th!!  Keep it up girls!
Sometimes the shirt isn't red/white/and blue - this year it was great!! Plus socks and medal of Uncle Sam running!!
