Maddie and Dane's Shower and Evanston, Wyoming

Heather, me, Maddie and Lindsey at the Bridal Shower - wonderful time!
Sheffields connection! Emily's sister Jennifer Harrison and four daughters,  Maddie, Krista Pershon - she took her little boy into Heritage Elementary School in Nibley to be tested for Speech - Kate did it!!  Kate asked - do you have cousins in Co Ruby and Sheffield?  Yep!
Fun pictures of Dane and Maddie - a copy was on each table.
The decorations were great - the food was yummy and the company the best!
Dane and Maddie with the aprons I made them - one of Dane's Grandmothers and I both gave them hand embroidered dish towels!
Groom and Bride - June 5 - coming right up!

Friday, April 16, we drove to Evanston, Wyoming for the wedding reception of Austin and Kenya.  He was an Elder in Irkutsk, and served as an AP when we were in the office in Russia.  Great young man - we are actually related.  His last name is Mathson - but his mother was a Rex - my great uncle Sam Rex married Elizabeth Smith - my grandfather's sister!!
I'm wearing my skirt and sweater from Irkutsk!  It was a lovely evening and we had dinner at an amazing Steakhouse in Evanston!

Provo :Life

Polly and Chris brought Pink to the Vet for her last shots before she gets to go 'home' to Hawaii!  Their vet is in our neighborhood so we got to see them for a little bit.
Our little forsythia bush has doubled in size form last year!  Love the first flowers of Spring!  Grandma Poole had a large forsythia bush in her front yard - so did Granny in Sandy.
First phot of our tulips and daffodils.
You can't see very well but we have a bleeding heart plant in the middle and a columbine at the top that survived the winter!
Chrina Hudson from Junction, Jamaica!  She is studying at BYU-I and we were blessed to have her visit overnight.
She got a ride back to Rexburg with three other girls - they have an app for anyone wanting to ride!
MSU fabric that I made a quilt for Stan and Julie's new baby - Polly helped with binding!
Turned out pretty well - I'll not point out the mistakes!!
Dad and Kyle fixing our car - Dad got parts online for less than local and Kyle used his expertise in fixing cars!

Kroeber's House Remodel

We are so happy to report much progress on the house remodel!  This is the back wall.
Here is the front room - joining the dining room - it will be so nice.
These are the plans on how it should look when finished!

Russian Senior Couples and Easter

Friday, April 2nd, we were so delighted to attend a Russia Novosibirsk Mission Reunion - the senior couples met at President and Sister Lamb's lovely home for a couple of hours - shared so many wonderful stories of mission miracles!  Then we headed to the near by church for dinner and program with the young missionaries - several married and some with babies!
Easter Dinner was fun with these pretty young women - Shelby and Kacey Fromm, their roommate Mary.
The Kroeber and Fairbanks grandchildren had an Easter egg hunt in our back yard - so much fun!  Thanks Heather and Lindsey for coming and contributing!

As people were getting ready to leave this young woman walked by with her dog - Winston.  He is a Japanese poodle and they kids asked if they could pet him.  Turned out she just moved to our neighborhood and was adopted form Russia.  She was excited to know we could invite some young people over to that could speak Russian with her!  Tait took this picture!
